Today was Jianna's first day in first grade. Yada yada yada...
A couple of weekends ago I took my bike (Roseanne) up highway 9 to Sumas. I stopped in Stanwood on the way up there and had lunch with Michael. We stayed at Janae's Dad's place. It was Janae', Jianna, Erik Val, Desi and me. It was pretty fun. We made a couple trips up the mountain at the end of Mt. Baker HWY. We did some hiking around, it was nice! You could see Mount Baker, the Glacier, and where the Nooksak River starts. On Sunday I went and did some target shooting with the Eliasen's. It's been years since I've shot anything. I also decided to climb out to the edge of the Nooksak Falls. I fell off and died! Well, I guess not. I love Mountains, rivers, friends, Family, Motorcycles...I think I would do it again!

Welllll, I'm not home, but at least i'm back in the land of internet... so a few pictures are more than in order!!! I've been in MN, OH, WV, MN, WI in that order, leaving out Chicago which was just airport. now i'm at martha and ben's and haven't taken any pix here yet.... i could take one of martha taking her power nap!
What a wonderful blast of a trip to CA! GOOD TIMES! I particularly like the picture of adrienne's head exploding! Dave and I are flying away tomorrow to Ohio... not the happiest place on earth, but promises to be a VERY good time, too ! Life is good!
Ahh.... other pictures still on my camera, i guess... so i'll post this one from not-so-recent trip to eburg. Gene is done there at CWU and this is the last day of spring break for the others.... (except Eliz. who is in Japan settling in for a semester there! fun! jealous!) I hope the others can manage to visit here LOTS. bye for now.
Our recent road trip was full of fun and fine friends and quite a few twists on weather and vehicle, etc. Generally a good, fringy time!
Pictures here are from a fairly recent Seattle trip - I am going to Florida next week so I am going to have more foliage pictures and more beach pictures soon to compare to these. I sure have a lot to do between now and the time I leave ... I suppose blogging isn't the most productive thing I could be doing. =0)
I think I'll start posting on this blog again; I might as well neglect two blogs as one! so, in that vein.... I'll actually put up some pictures and write something later as now i have to go get ready for work... and, since it's now monday morning, i need to QUIT STALLING!
